TV Special Shares the Good Friday Story with Millions

"The Passion" on FOX drew 6.6 million viewers.

On Palm Sunday, FOX aired “The Passion,” a live event that used pop music and an all-star cast, including Tyler Perry, Chris Daughtry and Seal, to tell the story of Jesus’ final hours. Viewers could then go online to find Bible resources, provided by American Bible Society, that included small group discussion guides, family devotionals and profiles of biblical characters portrayed on the TV program. In total, 6.6 million viewers tuned into “The Passion” and more than 49,000 people engaged with the story of Jesus through online Scripture resources.
