Almost two years ago, we asked you to join us in prayer for the newest national treasure coming to Philadelphia’s Independence Mall.

On November 29, 2018, your prayers were answered! In a heartfelt ceremony supported by city officials, local leaders, dedicated partners, and beloved friends, we broke ground on the Faith and Liberty Discovery Center.

Situated across from the Liberty Bell in Philadelphia’s most historic square mile, the Faith and Liberty Discovery Center will explore the relationship between faith and liberty in America from its founding to today. It will illuminate the influence of the Bible on individuals who shaped our nation and show how those values continue to shape us as people today.

Because of your prayers, people of all faiths and backgrounds will be able to explore God’s Word in a new way through the Faith and Liberty Discovery Center. Thank you for praying!

So, what’s next?

As we enter into this critical building phase, we’d like to invite you to continue your fervent prayers for the Faith and Liberty Discovery Center. Here are some specific ways you can pray.

Pray for:

• The construction. Ask God to strengthen, protect, and guide the builders, engineers, electricians, and all those involved in the construction.

• The technology. Pray for God’s wisdom to inspire new ground-breaking technologies that will enhance the experience of every visitor.

• The schedule. Pray against any complications or obstacles that would delay the scheduled opening in 2020.

• The visitors. Pray that the Faith and Liberty Discovery Center will spark a curiosity in every visitor to ask themselves, “What difference can the Bible make in my life today?”
