20,358 New Testaments in Peru

In 2019, the Peruvian Bible Society gave 20,358 people copies of the New Testament and Bible reading plans. By the end of 2020, the Bible Society plans to share Bibles with more than 100,000 Peruvians! Please join us in praying for new believers who are receiving their first Bibles and for churches carrying out evangelization campaigns.

Planting Churches in India

Over the past year, your gifts provided 39,500 Bibles to train new evangelists who want to plant churches in India. Of the 1.3 billion people in India, about 80 percent are Hindu, 14 percent Muslim, and only a little over 2 percent profess faith in Christ. These new pastors are needed to spread the Gospel message and plant strong churches!

Audio Bibles for Rural Ghana

Church ministry in Ghana can be difficult, especially in rural areas where few people can read. Yet in just one year, your generosity helped provide 3,000 Bibles, started 350 Scripture listening groups, and planted 40 new churches. That’s because your support provides Audio Scripture players that are used to form Bible listening groups. These groups become the expression of the local church in areas where there isn’t yet a formal, physical church.
