As a proud Army wife and a loving caretaker for her two young girls, Melanie was looking for something to support them through the difficult times that military families so often endure, like their father’s deployment.

The Bibles and Scripture resources provided by the Hero Squad program were exactly what Melanie was hoping for.

Her youngest daughter, Cecilia, was overjoyed to receive her own Bible. Melanie explains, “The Bible was her level. She could actually understand the Bible.”

Thanks to our generous partners, military families like Melanie’s are receiving children’s Bibles and Scripture resources through our Hero Squad outreach.

“They just love their new Bibles,” Melanie says.

The Bibles and Scripture resources they have received have also brought the sisters closer to each other and closer to God’s Word. Melanie says, “Cecilia sat with her new Bible and was just lost in it. Quinn went and sat with her, and they went through the Bible together.”
