Healing the Broken-Hearted in Rwanda
Audio and print Bibles bring hope to survivors of genocide and more
Ten-year-old Angelique was so excited to receive a Bible that she jumped to her feet and finds it helpful to engage with God’s Word in her own language. The young girl says her Bible “will help me to live a life doing the will of God. This book will help me in my calling, and I will serve God as a pastor.”
Ngwena, another native of Rwanda, who was widowed by the atrocious genocide, embraces her Bible after an audio Bible session, declaring, “This is my new husband.”
Fortunee, another teen, says the Bible given to him “is a guide helping me to keep my relationship with God. It brings me closer to Him.”
The continued compassion and generosity of our financial partners is bringing God’s healing Words to the people of Rwanda. And through American Bible Society’s critical programs, we are focused on helping more and more people engage with God’s Word.
The support of American Bible Society’s financial partners is making a difference through audio and print Bibles for people living in difficult circumstances. As Rwanda continues to recover from horrific genocide, the Bible brings hope.
By providing the Bible in the heart language, people not only hear the Gospel message, they also learn how to understand and live out God’s Word in their lives. People of all ages are discovering the hope and grace found in Scripture through audio and print Bibles in Rwanda today.
Thanks to the support of our faithful financial partners, American Bible Society has been engaging people with the life-changing message of God’s Word for more than 200 years.
Help us share God's Word where needed most.
