“Jesus loves me! This I know, for the Bible tells me so. Little ones to Him belong; they are weak, but He is strong.”

Remember this beloved children’s hymn from Sunday School? Sadly, many little ones around the world haven’t yet discovered God’s love.

Thankfully, through the support of American Bible Society friends, children in Southeast Asia are now learning of God’s everlasting love through His Word . . .

Children like Linh* and Lan*, 5-year-old twins who are too young to read. Thanks to the children’s Bibles provided by our supporters, Linh and Lan can experience the hope and love of God’s Word.

Often the twins’ mother or older brother Due* will read their children’s Bible to them before bed, pausing on each page so they can all marvel over the beautiful drawings that bring the stories to life.

“I know Jesus loves me,” Linh says with a smile. “For the Bible tells me so.”

Then, she turns to her sister Lan and hugs her tight. “Like this, I am showing you Jesus’s love.”

How wonderful that children can learn of God’s grace from the Bible, even before they are able to read! Our financial partners are not just bringing Bibles to men, women, and children in Southeast Asia — they also help to provide them with God’s Word in a format that they can understand and embrace.
