Month of the Bible Launches in Arizona
Spanish speakers in Phoenix, Arizona, read God's Word with new passion after a month-long, city-wide Bible reading collaboration.
Through your support, American Bible Society provided Bible study guides in English and Spanish to Hispanic churches in Phoenix, Arizona, for a month-long Bible reading experience.
In September 2017, believers in Phoenix, Arizona, joined forces for a first annual Scripture engagement event called Unity and Revival: A Month Together in the Book of Acts. Following a popular tradition of annual Bible celebrations in Latin American countries, more than 150 Spanish-speaking churches in Phoenix spent September reading and preaching through the book of Acts, finding unity in their common love for God’s Word. Your generous support provided Phoenix churches with print and digital study guides in both English and Spanish.
“The response has been great!” says American Bible Society’s Phoenix Area Mobilizer Gary Kinnaman. “So many pastors have said, ‘This is what we need for our churches and our city!’” Please pray that God continues to bless this annual Scripture celebration in Phoenix.
