Quite often, young people in Cuba have faced many difficulties in their short lives.

The small island nation suffers through yearly natural disasters, such as earthquakes and floods, and now shoulders the added strain caused by the pandemic.

And because they lack the ability to print Bibles, or even purchase Bibles in a store, many Cubans are unable to turn to God’s Word for comfort and strength in the face of adversity.

That’s why support from our partners is so important — hurting kids need the love and hope found in God’s Word.

It’s thanks to our generous friends that 14-year-old Ella* received her first-ever full Bible!

“I was very excited and happy because I can now learn many things,” she says. “I used to sing songs of the world. Now I read the Bible and sing praises for the Lord!”

Because the Bible Ella received was made especially for people her age, she can better understand the message found in Scripture.

“I am so grateful to you,” she says. “My Bible is easy for me to understand and explains things to me.”

The continued prayers and support ensure children and adults in the Caribbean feel loved — and have hope for a brighter future.
