Spiritually Hungry Cubans Continue to Pray for More Bibles
Where Christianity is growing rapidly, there is still a Bible shortage.
Randy and his father live on a farm in Cuba. He used to “do bad things,” and his life was aimless. But then Randy started attending church and was given his first Bible.
“When I received the Bible, I was emotional,” Randy says. “When I read the Bible every day, it helps me to see things different. The Bible is like a guide for me and helps me to see what I need to do in life.”
Thanks to American Bible Society’s financial partners, young Randy can live a better life with God by his side and in his heart. And there are so many more like Randy. In this nation where Christianity is growing rapidly, there’s a shortage of Bibles.
“We have the opportunity to see God answering the prayers of generations of people in Cuba,” said David Isais, American Bible Society Project Manager for the Cuba Million Bible campaign.
With the extreme growth in churches in Cuba, reaching others with God’s Word is more important than ever. So many still need Scripture.
In Cuba and throughout the Caribbean, the Word of God will play a key role in changing lives … and American Bible Society’s financial partners are a crucial part of that.
