“A few months ago, I fell into depression and sadness. I felt all alone. I cried inconsolably. I was anguished and felt that no one understood me,” said Jessica, a school teacher in Peru.

That’s when Jessica heard about a ministry called End-to-End, which helps people see, hear, and experience the love of God for themselves.

Jessica joined an End-to-End listening group at a local church. The group listened to God’s Word on a device called a Proclaimer. And what happened next, was incredible!

“The listening group has helped me immeasurably at a personal level. When I was living through this trial and I listened to the Proclaimer, I felt God talking to me. I know that he healed me and brought me through the trial.”

Jesus set Jessica free from depression. She overcame hopelessness through the power of God’s Word!

Bringing the Healing Power of God’s Word to Peru

Many Peruvians have yet to hear the gospel of Jesus. They live in remote communities where the gospel has not been shared. Or they speak one of the 47 indigenous languages that has no verse of Scripture.

Peruvian Bible Society is using the End-to-End ministry to bring the life-changing message of the Bible to these hard-to-reach areas, in a language and format that speaks to their hearts. Through End-to-End, they can encounter the love of Jesus by watching the JESUS film in their own language, participating in listening groups, and joining a local church.

And we’re seeing lives like Jessica be transformed!

Jessica now has joy, thanks to God’s Word. “My favorite verse in the Bible is Philippians 4:13, ‘I can do all things through him who strengthens me.’ When I feel weak, when my own strength has given out, the Word encourages me and lifts me up.”
