Look Forward to Christmas with 7 Bible Verses that Point to Jesus

As you look forward to Christmas, reflect on the birth of Jesus Christ with these seven verses from Scripture

“Glory to God in the highest heaven, and peace on earth to those with whom he is pleased!”

Luke 2:14 GNT

It’s easy to get swept away in the rush before Christmas. The hustle of gift shopping; the long discussions over which side of the family to visit first; the crammed calendars; the hectic workload as you prepare for holiday time off.

And the endless reminders not to lose sight of the true meaning of Christmas!

For centuries, this time of year has been observed by Christians as a celebration of Jesus’s incarnation and birth. It’s a chance to reflect on the story of salvation, which spans the entire Bible and continues to transform lives today.

And it’s still true. Even amid the busyness, you can gain a deeper appreciation for the gift of Jesus by reflecting on what the Bible says about him.

One way to keep your heart focused on the miracle of Christmas is to spend time in God’s Word. You can sign up for our free Advent devotional series and receive Scripture reflections in your email inbox each day until Christmas!
