Letters from Paul Episode 10: Titus 3:1-9
This video series invites you to explore the letters of the apostle Paul
But when the kindness and love of God our Savior was revealed, he saved us.
Titus 3:4-5a GNT
In the tenth episode of our “Letters from Paul” video series, you’ll explore Titus 3:1-9, which contains Paul’s reflection on the grace God shows to us through Jesus Christ.
This letter was written to Titus, a Greek man who worked closely with Paul during his ministry. Paul asked Titus to travel to the island of Crete, where several household churches had fallen into disorder. In addition to instructions on how to help these churches, Paul’s letter includes insight on how the gospel of Jesus Christ could restore the community.
In this passage, Paul reminds his readers that we were all once separated from God by sin. Through Jesus Christ, we experience the grace and mercy of God, who chose to save us when we were still his enemies. Now, we can be washed by the Holy Spirit and experience restored community with God and with others.
Watch and be inspired by Paul’s reminder of how God’s grace transforms our lives.
