Letters from Paul Episode 5: Ephesians 3:13-21

This video series invites you to explore the letters of the apostle Paul

I pray that you may have your roots and foundation in love, so that you, together with all God’s people, may have the power to understand how broad and long, how high and deep, is Christ’s love.

Ephesians 3:17b-18 GNT

In this fifth episode of the Letters from Paul series from American Bible Society, you’ll explore Ephesians 3:13-21.

Paul is writing to the church in Ephesus, which had grown and thrived thanks to his Spirit-filled ministry (you can watch an overview of the book of Ephesians here). Later in his life, Paul was imprisoned by the Romans. He wrote this letter from prison, reflecting on the gospel message and how it impacts our lives.

In this passage, Paul shares how we are all made part of God’s family through Jesus Christ, whose love for us knows no boundaries. He also shares his heartfelt prayer that the Ephesians would receive power and a sure foundation of faith through the Holy Spirit. Today, that can be our prayer for our faith as well!

Watch and be inspired by Paul’s words on the foundational love of Jesus Christ.
