This video series invites you to explore the letters of the apostle Paul

But as for you, continue in the truths that you were taught and firmly believe.

2 Timothy 3:14a GNT

In the ninth episode of our “Letters from Paul” video series, you’ll explore 2 Timothy 3:14-17, which encourages believers to remain strong in God’s Word.

Paul wrote 2 Timothy from prison toward the end of his life. He requests that Timothy, the young man he has been mentoring, come visit him in prison so that Paul can pass on the work of planting churches. Paul also charges Timothy with rebuking the corrupt leaders who are spreading false doctrines in the Ephesian church.

In this passage, Paul offers personal encouragement to Timothy and reminds his young friend to remain loyal to the truth of God’s Word. He reminds Timothy that all Scripture is inspired by God and has many beneficial uses for our everyday lives. Finally, he tells Timothy that we are equipped for good works through the Word.

Watch and be inspired by Paul’s description of God’s holy Word.
