Pray for Kenya Terrorist Attack Victims

Turn to God to comfort the Kenyans affected by the terrorist attack on Garissa University College

Join us in praying for the victims and the family members of those affected by the terrorist attack on Garissa University College in Kenya. Reports state that attackers entered the university campus early in the morning on April 2, separated Christian students from Muslim students and killed the Christian students. Nearly 150 students died in the attack, and more were injured.

In the midst of this tragedy, let us join together to pray and mourn with those affected by the attack. Take a moment to read through Psalm 23, a psalm that reminds us of God’s protection and comfort. As you read, pray for the comfort and protection of those who are hurting—physically, emotionally and spiritually in the wake of the attack in Kenya.

Psalm 23 (GNTD)

The Lord is my shepherd;

I have everything I need.

He lets me rest in fields of green grass

and leads me to quiet pools of fresh water.

He gives me new strength.

He guides me in the right paths,

as he has promised.

Even if I go through the deepest darkness,

I will not be afraid, Lord,

for you are with me.

Your shepherd’s rod and staff protect me.

You prepare a banquet for me,

where all my enemies can see me;

you welcome me as an honored guest

and fill my cup to the brim.

I know that your goodness and love will be with me all my life;

and your house will be my home as long as I live.
