2020 is the Year of the Bible
Become a Year of the Bible Intercessor
This year, I’m doing something I’ve never done before. I’m reading through the WHOLE Bible. And so far, I’m loving it!
Each morning as I sit on my couch and read Scripture, I feel like God is sitting right next to me telling me his story. A story filled with undeniable love but also with indescribable pain. A story about redeeming humankind. A story about rescuing me.
God loves to speak to us through his Word.
That’s why American Bible Society has joined 60 Christian organizations to help make 2020 the Year of the Bible. A year where people find their story in God’s story by passionately engaging Scripture for an entire year.
Praying for Year of the Bible
Year of the Bible is a year-long collaborative campaign to inspire people to spend more time engaging with the Scriptures.
Through the largest advertising campaign in history for the Bible, world class resources, and the use of digital platforms, we hope to see a Bible revival!
But it all starts with prayer.

Prayer invites God to do the things we cannot. In Luke 18:27 (GNT), Jesus says, “What is humanly impossible is possible for God.”
To see a powerful movement of Bible-reading around the world, WE MUST PRAY. We’ve created the 2020 Year of the Bible Prayer Planner to help you do just that. This planner is designed to guide your prayers for Year of the Bible and to reignite your joy for Bible reading. There are monthly devotionals, guided prayers, journaling sections, and goal-setting pages.
Are you ready to join an epic movement of intercessors praying for a generation to engage Jesus through his Word?
Let’s Pray Together
God, we pray for the Year of the Bible campaign to be successful in drawing people to the Bible. We pray that as people read Scripture that they will move closer to your heart. We also pray that believers will renew their commitment to read the Bible, drawing fresh inspiration for their lives.
