God hears us when we pray. He answers more than we could ask. And he moves in ways (and timing) we often do not expect.

The Bible cautions us not to doubt the power of prayer. James 5:16 (NIV) tells us, “[t]he prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.” As we look back over a tumultuous 2020, we observe that many of us grew spiritually by praying more consistently and fervently. Challenges this year grew seasoned intercessors and beginners alike. As pressures mounted due to the pandemic, Google experienced a record surge interest on the topic of prayer last year. Research analysis across 95 nations showed that Google searches for prayer in March 2020 were 50 percent higher than the average in February 2020. Our seasoned prayer community joined this growing chorus of intercession. Together, we prayed in faith and God moved mightily in response to your prayers for Bible ministry around the world.

Your prayers focused beyond the needs you faced personally, extending to the lives of those around the world who need God’s Word. Your faithful intercession impacted more people than we can measure this side of heaven. Thank you for your generosity in prayer.
