Poverty, persecution, oppression, illiteracy, disability—these just a few reasons why people around the world are cut off from God’s Word.

Our mission at American Bible Society is to reach those cut off from the gospel by introducing the Bible in regions where it has never been shared and distributing it in places where access is limited.

Through End-to-End ministry, unreached people have an opportunity to experience the transformative power of the gospel. The process entails watching a screening of the JESUS film, attending audio Bible listening groups, receiving their own copy of God’s Word to read and study daily, and new Christ followers being invited to join a local church.

This four-step approach has proven to be effective in introducing people to their Savior and changing their lives in many ways. One participant in Africa said:

“I started the listening group in the prison by the pastor who came to visit us. It was a result of the group that he gave us Bibles, mine is in French. Before I was adrift. But since I received the Bible and started reading, I felt more and more relieved as if I had a heavy burden on me.”

End-to-End is impacting lives all around the globe. In 2020, End-to-End shared the good news of Jesus Christ in 42 countries, reaching 1.6 million people. In 2021, the ministry was deployed in 52 countries in Africa, Asia, the Americas, Central Asia, the Middle East, and new countries around the world. In 2022, End-to-End will be returning to 50+ nations while also expanding its ministry in the United States to reach diaspora populations and people in shelters.

Prayer Requests

• Pray for those who came to faith in Jesus as a result of seeing The JESUS Film, joining a listening group, or reading the Bible. Pray that someone comes alongside each new believer to help them understand the breadth and depth of God’s love.
• Pray for good health and protection of all church staff, listening group leaders, media partners, and the volunteers who carry out the End-to-End ministry.
• Pray that more people will encounter God in Scripture as the End-to-End ministry expands into new countries and territories in the U.S.
• Thank God for those who continue to generously support this ministry that sends God’s Word out to the world.
