How to Pray for the .bible Web Ministry
Pray for God to meet people as they engage the Bible on the internet
The internet offers immense possibilities for people to engage God’s Word. Through .bible, an online space for people to explore and engage with the Scriptures, those opportunities will expand even more.
What is .bible?
.bible is a new top level domain (think “.com” or “.org”) with a vision to be a trusted online source for all things Bible. Organizations can now offer digital Bible engagement by sharing apps, ministry news and Bible-related content on a centralized domain.
How it works
Churches, ministries and faith-based organizations who want to share Bible-related content can register their domain name at any accredited .bible registrar. Here are some examples:
- Find.Bible makes it easy to find Bible resources in any language
- Free.Bible is the fastest and easiest way to share the free YouVersion Bible app
- Hackathon.Bible encourages innovations in Bible engagement
- Leadership.Bible is equipping Scripture-centered leaders
Join us in praying for this unique opportunity to spur Bible engagement on the web through the .bible web ministry.
PRAY FOR:
- God to remind web visitors of his presence as they encounter Scripture on .bible websites and apps.
- Visitors of .bible websites to come together in community to engage Scripture and share Bible-related content.
- God to guide and bless organizations that are actively using the .bible domain to spur Bible engagement.
- Awareness of .bible to spread so that more people can encounter God through Scripture online.
