Please Pray for the Global Bible Translation Movement
September 30 is International Translation Day, and we’re praying for Scripture translation around the world
To celebrate International Translation Day (September 30, 2017), please join us in praying for God’s Word to be translated in each person’s native language by 2026.
People around the world are longing to hear the good news of the Bible. But many are still waiting for God’s Word. Approximately 165 million people have never heard or read even one verse of Scripture!

Let’s ask God for:
People Still Waiting for God’s Word. Ask God to prepare the hearts of people around the world to receive the full truth of his Word in their heart language.
Bible Translators. Ask God to provide wisdom, strength, protection, good health, and encouragement to translators worldwide as they strive to make his Word available in their communities.
Partnerships. Ask God to increase collaboration among churches and ministry partners to accelerate Bible translation around the world.
Tools and Resources. Ask God to provide the resources and tools needed to complete translation projects, including technology, facilities, transportation, and funds.
Education. Pray that God will give local church leaders wisdom in providing literacy workshops to train people to read and study their Bibles.
Distribution. Pray for the successful distribution of completed Bible translations in all nations. In areas where physical printing is impractical, ask God to expand Scripture distribution through innovative technologies.
Quality. Pray for the integrity of God’s Word to be maintained as it is translated.
Life and World Transformation. Pray that lives, communities, and nations will be transformed by the power of God’s Word.
