Prayer Request: God’s Word for Service Members, Veterans and Military Families
Pray for military communities to encounter the peace found in God’s Word through new, innovative Bible resources
Active duty Service members and veterans often struggle with spiritual and emotional injuries as a result of their service in the military. This can lead to feelings of fear, anger, depression, hopelessness, and grief.
Their families have unique struggles as well, from learning to cope with loneliness and extra responsibilities while a loved one is deployed to helping their family member find healing when he or she comes home.
But God’s Word offers hope. That’s why American Bible Society’s Armed Services Ministry offers Bible engagement resources to help Military members, veterans and their families deal with current and past stresses of military life.
Please join us in praying that the Bible engagement resources (listed below) will have a great impact as God meets service members, veterans and military families in powerful ways.
