Praying for Wounded Hearts to be Healed
Hear how we prayed for lives to be healed across the United States
The United States is witnessing unique challenges resulting in trauma. The border crisis, mass incarceration, and deepening racial divides have left many with deep emotional wounds. Yet God desires to bring healing to those suffering.
Bible-based trauma healing is using God’s Word to heal those affected by trauma. Bible-based trauma healing is a ministry that equips people to provide a compassionate response to traumatized people in their communities. In a small group setting, trained trauma healing facilitators use Scripture and best mental health practices to help people heal from their pain.
On our September 19, 2019 Prayer Call, Rebecca Taguma, U.S. Trauma Healing Program Manager, shared how God is healing wounded hearts for those affected by:
- The crisis at the border.
- Generational trauma.
- Trauma in our prisons.
A Powerful Testimony
God is healing lives all across America! On the call, we talked about Jules who encountered God’s Word in a prison cell through a trauma healing group. After encountering the healing power of Jesus, Jules left the prison system ready to share Christ’s love with everyone. Jules is living proof that one encounter with God, can change us forever.
