The Prayer Snapshot: ‘Advent 2021: Jesus is Worth the Wait!’

In this episode we share a message of hope as we celebrate this Advent season

Many of us remember lying in our beds on Christmas Eve, counting down the hours, minutes, seconds until it was time to open gifts. The anticipation was palpable. What could be better than finally receiving what you’ve been hoping and waiting for.

But gifts aren’t the only thing we wait for at Christmas time. As Christians, this time leading up to Christmas, known as Advent, is a time of celebration, joyful anticipation, and preparation.

  • We celebrate Jesus’s first coming as a baby to rescue us from our sins.
  • We joyfully anticipate his second coming when we will be united with him forever.
  • We prepare by sharing God’s Word with as many people as possible so that they too can experience his hope, peace, joy, and love.

In this episode of the Prayer Snapshot, we pray for you to be renewed in your hope, encouraged in your waiting, and prepared to share the gospel. We pray that as you await the glorious day that Jesus comes to take us home, you’ll be reminded that Jesus is worth the wait. To listen to this message, click below.
