The Prayer Snapshot: “Hero Squad”
In episode 8 we share a new program designed to encourage Military kids with God’s Word
There are an estimated 1.7 million children who currently have a parent serving in the Military. These children face different challenges than most kids, including long periods of separation, the fear of losing a parent, frequent relocations, and parents struggling with mental and physical injuries from war deployments.
But God’s Word is helping Military children find strength.
In this episode of the Prayer Snapshot, we invited special guest Rev. Dr. Paul McCullough, senior field manager at American Bible Society, to share with us about Hero Squad—a new program designed to help Military children connect with the truths in God’s Word. Hero Squad seeks to address the practical and spiritual needs and challenges of Military children. It helps them build faith, hope, and purpose for their lives through inspiring, weekly, Bible-based activities tailored just for them.
Tune in to this episode to learn more about Hero Squad and how your prayers can help deliver God’s truth to the children of America’s heroes.
