The Prayer Snapshot: “Praying the Bible for Those Who are Sick”

In this episode we pray, guided by James 5:14-16, for people struggling with sickness

In this episode of the Prayer Snapshot, we pray for those battling health issues. Watching loved ones or friends struggle with sickness or disease can be troubling, but we don’t have to sit back and feel helpless. We can be like the four friends in Mark 2:1-5 (GNT), whose bold faith and courageous actions led to a miraculous healing. When these friends heard that Jesus was teaching at a home in Capernaum, they decided they would bring their paralyzed friend to him. But there were so many people that they could not make their way to Jesus.

That’s when they did something extraordinary!

These four friends made a hole in the roof and lowered their paralyzed friend on his mat into the middle of the crowd, right in front of Jesus: “Seeing how much faith they had, Jesus said to the paralyzed man, ‘My son, your sins are forgiven’” (verse 5).

The faith of these four friends healed the paralyzed man. And your faith can do the same! You can bring your sick loves ones to Jesus, through your prayers. In this
episode, we put our faith into action and use Scripture to pray for those who are sick. Watch as the Prayer Team prays guided by James 5:14-16.
