The Prayer Snapshot: “Praying the Bible for Your Life”
In this episode we pray guided by Psalm 31 for God’s protection, goodness, and mercy in our lives
Psalm 31 gives us a glimpse into a problem in David’s life he is trying to work through. In this lament we see his passionate expression of grief, sorrow, and fear. But amid this dire circumstance, David turns to God for help. He professes his confidence in God and prays that God would deliver him from his enemies.
And God answers his prayer!
David ends the psalm by giving God praise for his goodness, helping him in his time of need, and encouraging others to trust in him. He reminds us that God is good to those who take refuge in him.
In this episode of the Prayer Snapshot, we use David’s words in Psalm 31 to remind us that we can trust God in every situation. We thank God for his goodness to us and pray for his protection in our lives. To pray with us, click below.
