This Christmas Sing Your Way to Joy

Download this 7-day Christmas devotional and be encouraged as you sing hymns of praise

This year, singing was a common theme. As Covid-19 erupted around the world, thousands turned to singing. From YouTube parodies, to people singing from their balconies, and apartment building sing-a-longs- singing brought communities together.

What a wonderful reminder of the power of singing through crisis. That singing helps us express God’s hope and grace amidst crisis and adversity.

In this very difficult year, we need to sing. Singing brings life to the dead places in our hearts. It reminds us of God’s faithfulness to us in difficult times. It affirms that our hope is in him. That his grace is indeed at work in our lives.

Many men and women throughout history have written poems of praise to God acknowledging his undeniable presence in moments of fear, helplessness, and suffering. These poems turned hymns give us confidence in knowing that we are not alone, but there is one who walks with us in the midst of trial and tribulation.

This Christmas, we invite you to pour out your heart to God through hymns. Download, “Hymns of Praise: A 7-Day Christmas Devotional” to read the powerful stories behind seven popular hymns and allow your spirit to be encouraged as you sing to God. May your heart flow again with adoration and praise for the one who remains our unshakeable hope in hard times.
