Reaching One Billion Souls for Jesus

Christians from over 150 nations unite in bold evangelistic outreach in 2020

Charles Spurgeon said, “to be a soul winner is the happiest thing in this world.”

While the coronavirus spreads across the nations, God’s Word is also spreading. Souls are placing their hope in Christ in the midst of difficult circumstances. In this unprecedented time, Christians around the world are sharing the good news that steadies anxious hearts in God’s love.

Bold Evangelistic Outreach Spreads Christ’s Love

Join American Bible Society in prayer for Go2020, a movement seeking to share the message of Christ through evangelism, community outreach, and church planting around the world in 2020.

Christians from over 150 countries have joined this campaign to reach someone with God’s love every day this year. This effort calls the church to prayer, caring, and sharing the message of hope in Christ. While this outreach lasts all year, the month of May will feature several key engagement opportunities to encourage Christians around the world to share the hope we have in God’s Word.

How you can pray:

Pray for God to transform hearts through these Go2020 events in May 2020:

  • May 1 - Join the World Prayer Together Call, praying for 1 billion people to hear the gospel in May 2020.
  • May 1-31 – Pray for 5 weeks of bold evangelism where 1 million churches and 100 million believers share the Gospel.
  • May 30 – Pray for Global Outreach Day, encouraging every believer to be a witness and reach at least one person with the Gospel message.
  • May 31 – Join us as we Pray for Zero unreached people groups still waiting for access to God’s Word in their language. Pray that the remaining Bibleless peoples around the world will encounter the beauty of Jesus through the pages of Scripture.
