The Prayer Snapshot: “The Love of Jesus”
In episode 11 we pray for people to experience Jesus’s love through Bible translation ministry
While in prison, Paul wrote a beautiful prayer for the Ephesians. He prayed that they would fully grasp how wide, how long, how high, and how deep Jesus’s love was for them, (Ephesians 3:17b-18 GNT).
As Christians, this is our prayer too. We pray that people everywhere may know the depths of Christ’s love for them.
But did you know that there are approximately 2.2 billion people around the world who have never heard that Jesus loves them. That’s because they do not have access to Scripture in their native language.
In this episode of the Prayer Snapshot, the Prayer Team at American Bible Society shares how God’s Word is being translated for languages that do not have any portion of Scripture. Join us as we pray for Bible translation ministry. We long for the day when everyone can read about God’s love for them in their heart language.
