Pray for the whole world. Every day. This month, American Bible Society launched a global prayer initiative to channel this incredible power of prayer to the whole world every day.

The prayer initiative is web-based and features an interactive map of the world. Volunteers can choose a country to pray for by clicking on the map.

“Praying for the entire world country by country is a huge task for a single person, but if we join together, we can support the work of the Gospel around the globe on a daily basis. That is an incredible opportunity and privilege,” says Jane McGrath, coordinator of the project.

McGrath encourages people to sign up to pray as individuals, small groups, Sunday school classes, families or congregations. “This is a practical way for people to have a heart connection with the work of the Gospel, including the 146 national Bible Societies in over 200 countries around the world.”
