“I cried when I received my Bible from you.”

Sharing Bibles with military children and families.

When deployment takes a loving parent away from home, the children and families left behind often wrestle with their own fears and doubts.

Children of Service Members face a unique and difficult set of struggles. Their parents could be deployed for months at a time. They may need to move frequently, changing schools and leaving friends far behind — all changes that are very stressful and lonely for a child, especially if a parent isn’t there.

But thanks to our friends, military families can receive the comfort and guidance they need in Scripture.

The support of our partners helps children like Ellie* learn about God’s Word. Ellie likes to spend time going over her devotional, by herself or with her mother, Melody*.

As Melody says, “I love the devotional books and activities you send for the kids. We read the Bible you sent almost every day.”

Our friends are also helping the spouses and loved ones of Service Members. “These books are fantastic!” said an Air Force wife. “I cried when I received my Bible from you.”

We are so grateful to our financial partners for their ongoing support, which helps kids like Ellie grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ, bringing encouragement to military families during tough times.
