In May, members from 47 churches in Kansas City went over and above their normal service to show their neighbors the love of God. This effort was grounded in Scripture, with more than 1,500 people reading the devotional Love Your Neighbor produced by American Bible Society. In addition, 4,000 church leaders received guides on facilitating a What if the Church Loves KC? initiative. A major part of this initiative was Bless Every Home, a mapping and evangelization tool that connects participants with people in their neighborhoods who may not know Jesus. Through this, more than 22,000 families in the Kansas City area received prayer and care. It’s amazing to see what God is doing through his church!
