South America can be a brutal place to grow up. Many live on the ragged edge of poverty, struggling to survive with no hope for a better future. In Ecuador alone, some boys and girls are so desperate that they resort to child labor just to stay alive!

One in four people in Ecuador live in poverty, and the number of children who live near or below the poverty line keeps rising. These young ones need a ray of hope! Children’s Bibles provided by caring supporters of American Bible Society can make all the difference for these hurting children.
