In Niger, West Africa, where many live under the pressure of poverty, violence, and terrorism, children often act out. Samira* was one of those children.

“My life was a life of disobedience and rebellion against my parents,” she admits. But Samira found hope because of friends like you who help take the message of the Gospel to remote villages.

With the help of our financial partners, American Bible Society shares the Good News of God’s Word with hurting people using the JESUS Film. This powerful film introduces people in remote regions of the world to Christ’s love and sacrifice in their own language. It has proven to be extremely effective.

After watching the message of Jesus’s sacrifice on-screen, they also receive audio Bible resources and eventually a Bible of their own!

“It is through this Bible outreach that God has made a great transformation in my life and I will never forget it,” Samira says. “By listening to the Word of God, my life of disobedience has changed into a life of obedience. Without this Bible, I could be a lost girl.”

The Bibles you are sharing with the youth in Niger are transforming many lives like Samira’s. Hassane*, an educational leader in Niger, shares his story:

“I have suffered a lot for the education of the students that I am responsible for. They fight, insult, and steal all the time. But since we started the audio Bible listening group, the behaviors of the children have changed. They do not fight or insult each other as before. Because of this outreach, the behaviors of the students and myself have changed.”
