Many Chinese sports fans pin their hopes on athlete Han Duan. Because of her outstanding performance in the recent Four Nations women's soccer tournament, she receives extensive media coverage. Han uses this exposure to share her Christian journey.

“No matter where I go, I have my Bible with me,” says Han Duan. “I love to read the Bible because in it there are important lessons to be learned every day.”

The United Bible Societies used a recent tournament where Han played to promote the Bible. “We supported the Provincial Christian Councils in producing 150,000 copies of Mark's Gospel,” says program manager Tan Tan Yeo.
