More than 50,000 young people gathered in Los Angeles and online for a conference hosted by Jesus Culture, a group that seeks to mobilize young Christians across the world. American Bible Society supported the conference by providing a Scripture journey based on the Gospel of John and the book of Acts so that participants could continue to engage with God’s Word after the conference.

More than 15,000 people signed up to participate in the 30-day Scripture journey via phone or email. “Given the recent research that highlights how youth in our society are turning away from the Bible, this is an amazing response,” explains Arthur Satterwhite, senior program manager of Arts and Media Bible Advocacy.

“These young people are the culture makers of our future, and it’s encouraging to see that they’ve chosen to let the Scriptures influence that future.”
