“Yes, we do have a Bible in your language!” Nicolee Thompson loves having the opportunity to speak these words on a regular basis. As the Executive Director of Harvest Compassion Center, Nicolee meets hundreds of men, women, and children each week. Many have recently lost jobs or homes. Others have suffered a major health crisis or trauma. Some are widows, orphans, and refugees.

Nicolee is deeply grateful for friends like you. Your support helps American Bible Society provide Bibles, children’s Bibles, and Scripture resources to food banks like hers in both English and other languages. She shares how people in need respond to such a precious gift: “They open their new Bible, turn a few pages, then hug it. They can’t believe they are receiving a Bible in their heart language.”

She goes on to explain: “Half of our clients are kids. We work with about 40,000 kids every year, and children’s Bible stories are the most popular.”
